The Gunners transfer activity started quite early this summer window with the £11million capture of Chelsea veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech; but despite several speculations linking them with other big name players, no major deals have been concluded so far.
Wenger who would not reveal any names, told reporters that the club are still looking to bring in quality players to the side this summer.
“If we can find one or two players – we will do it,” he said per the Metro.
Wenger’s comments will serve as an assurance to supporters that the club’s business in the transfer market has not ended with Cech’s capture, and it’s only a matter of time before they get to know the other stars that will adorn the famous red and white at the Emirates Stadium next season.
Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuain, Mario Gotze and Angel Di Maria to mention but a few, have all been linked with a possible transfer to Arsenal this summer.
