The north London derby has always been one to leave fans of both teams at the edge of their seats, and Sunday’s encounter will not be any different.

Arsenal will go into Sunday’s derby on the back of a horrendous defeat against Bayern Munich in Champions League midweek clash; however, Arsene Wenger and his men will be looking to continue in their excellent League form when Spurs visit on Sunday.

Tottenham on the other hand started their season on a quiet note, but have recently stepped up their game and will be going into the clash at the Emirates Stadium on the back of three straight wins – including their midweek Europa League victory against Anderlecht. However, many sports betting fans still tip Arsenal to walk away with all three points on Sunday should you be looking for online sports betting?

Wenger spoke about his team’s confidence going into the derby, making reference to the Gunners excellent league form despite the terrible 5-1 defeat at Munich.

“It was a disappointing result on Wednesday night but before that we did extremely well in the Premier League,” Wenger told Arsenal Player.

“We will try to continue from one competition from the other.

“I believe that in the Premier League we have a strong confidence and focus and that is what we want to reproduce on Sunday against Tottenham and, as always, it is a derby. It is always a game where the commitment and nervous force will be important.

“It is not easy [to recover] because it is always a big disappointment [to lose]. When you play against Bayern Munich, and in fact I have watched the game again, not a lot has changed since my analysis afterwards. He Added.
